Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus Viswaroopam release date is pushed to January 2013, as the actor
 Director and producer Kamal Haasan wanted to adopt Auro 3D audio technology for his film.

Vishwaroopam is reportedly the world’s second movie to adopt this latest sound technique Auro 3D,

while Hollywood film George Lucas' Red Tail records the first. In a recent interview Kamal said, “Yes, we’re converting Viswaroopam to Auro 3D.
Wilfred Van Baelen is here to help us get the format right and it is not as complicated as sounds. When we have sound conversions from mono to stereophonic, followed by Dolby sound people enjoyed them. And now we have Auro 3D, which is so far been tried only in George Lucas’ Red Tail and I’m glad we’re second to Lucas.”
