While Rs.50 Crores has become the benchmark for Telugu heroes to conquer the stardom, Bollywood hero Salman Khan can’t accept anything less than Rs.200 Crores as an achievement. Although his last release of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ opened for mixed reviews, the movie almost reached near to Rs.200 Crores mark which is a strange aspect. As per the fresh trade buzz, his next movie of ‘dabangg 2′ has shocked the analysts making Rs.180 Crores of pre-release business in the form of distribution, satellite, home video and audio rights. ‘dabangg 2′ is sequel to super hit ‘Dabangg’ and is all set for a grand release on December 21st. If Salman Khan wins positive reviews and mouth talk on the release day, we will see new benchamrks sets in Bollywood that could be above Rs.300 Crores because remake rights may fetch heavy additional incomes.
