National and International media poured praises on the hardwork of special effects team and the visualization of Rajamouli in making ‘eega’ happen. In fact, this one Telugu movie has raised the standards of Tollywood to global levels. Unfortunately, IFFI was unable to honor neither the movie nor the achievements of Telugu cinema at International level. As a respite, our neighborhood Tamil Nadu celebrating the Chennai International Film Festival from December 13 to 20th has shortlisted ‘Naan Ee’ for a special screening at the festival. Other films to be screened here are ‘Pizza, Aravaan, Aarohanam, Attakathi, Marina, Mounaguru, Muppozhuthum Un Karpanaigal, Neerparavai, Saattai, Sundarapandian and Vazhakku Enn 18/9.’ A total of 160 films will be screened here from 57 countries. So, that is a rare honor for ‘eega’ and ‘Rajamouli.’
