Anushka Shetty has bagged another plum project. She has been successful
in pulling off solo roles in a male dominated industry and her next
flick, a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu will be on similar lines.
Directed by Gunasekar, the film untitled as of now has Anushka playing a princess role. It is the first Indian historical film to be shot in 3D stereophonic sound and has a strong team of technicians on board. Costumes will be designed by Neeta Lulla, art direction done by Thota Tharani VFX supervisor Kamal Kannan and music composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja. Anushka will be cast as Rutharama Devi the 13th century revered queen of the Kakatiya dynasty.
Ready to pick the sword once again and play a proud princess, the movie promises to showcase the trials and tribulations of the brave princess encountered during her reign. With Illayaraja’s music and the latest technology on board it is surely a nice grab for the actress. Way to go Anushka, we are eager to see the warrior princess in action soon.
