The Theatres have lost so much money due to Nagarjuna’s Damarukam has not been hitting theatres on time, Distributors and Exhibitors are fuming in anger as they have faced severe loss. Damarukam release has been pushed indefinitely.
More than 700 screens have been booked for Damarukam and they will have to screen old or now running films to cover up the losses. online tickets were sold at multiplexes are being refunded by the managements and Nag’s Fans at various theatres like Alankaar (Vijaywada), Sandhya (Hyderabad) and at other places have destroyed furniture and break the glasses to showed their anger.
In a private event in East Godavari district hero Nagarjuna has responded on this issue that “'I'm sorry for the happenings regarding Damarukam release. Please pray the god Lord Shiva for the film’s release is yet to bless us. Maybe it will take a week time for the release” .
