While media has been continuously buzzing on clash of release dates
between ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Ram Babu’ and ‘Damarukam’ releasing in a
gap of just one day, there are also speculations on Nag’s flick might go
back by a week. Beating all these, the handsome hero reacted on these
rumors saying, ‘We will have nearly four to five films releasing for
Ponagal season. During those times never do we face shortage of theatres
or competition. Even for Dasara, it applies the same. We are happy for
the releases of ‘Damarukam’ and ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Ram Babu.’ Films
stand in market based on the quality of subject and treatment. Our
audiences are open hearted and will enjoy as many number of movies as
you release. If both the films are strong enough, then both will shake
the BO. There will be no competition between two,’ Nag said.
Yes, confidence seems to be oozing in the words of nagarjuna because
‘Damarukam’ is his first socio-fantasy which is made with a budget of
above Rs.40 Crores. Let us wish that both ‘CGR’ and ‘Damarukam’ will
come out with winning colors making Dasara season a celebration for
Tollywood.
