Some days ago, we heard that ace director ss rajamouli’s ‘Eega’ was
shortlisted for the Film Federation of India’s Oscar nomination. Many
people thought that the movie would surely be selected as India’s
official entry of Oscar nominations. However, the jury, comprises 22
members, selected ‘Barfi’, a bollywood movie as the India’s official
entry of Oscar nominations. Meanwhile, this movie beat 19 other movies
to be selected India’s official entry to Oscars and ‘Eega’ is one among
those 19 movies.
Starred by Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana, ‘Barfi’ received appreciations from the critics and the movie has also been a decent earner at the box office. Ranbir showed a terrific performance as a deaf and mute boy in the movie. Pritam has given the music for this movie. Anurag Basu directed this movie.
